I am trying to make everything as clear as possible, which is why I basically repeat everything. I apologize in advance if this upsets you in any way.
Let’s get to it!
“These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” – Mark 16:17-18
First off: “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe”. Believe what? Those who believe in Christ and what he has done for us and those who have given their life to him. Also, believing what the Bible says is true is the key to all of this.
Next up, “they will cast out devils in my name”. Who are they? Those who believe, right? The believers.
Notice how it says “those who believe” and “they”, meaning every one who believes. Every single one. It doesn’t say “the good ones”, or “the ones that doesn’t sin”, or “the ones that reading their Bible every single day”. It doesn’t even say “the pastors” or “the evangelists” It says THOSE WHO BELIEVE. If you believe, this is your verse.
It also says “will”. Not “may”, or “maybe” or “if God feels like it”. It says WILL.
Let’s change the words to make it clearer:
These miraculous signs will accompany YOU if you believe: YOU will cast out demons in my name, and YOU will speak in new languages. YOU will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if YOU drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. YOU will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”
Also, notice how it says “they will be able to place their hands on the sick “, not they will pray for the sick. Then I realized how Jesus never prayed for the sick, he commanded the sickness (or whatever) to go away. Sometimes he didn’t even touch them.
However, if you believe, you can do all of this, because it says so in Mark 16:17-18. God gave you that authority when you became a Christian and started to believe. What you have to know is that when Jesus died for us, he took every single disease with him. Why we have it is because the Devil is messing with us. But, as we have cleared out, you can command it to go away in Jesus’ name. Why? Because it says so in Mark 16:17-18.
Also, the Devil is used to believers commanding him to go, (I don’t know how many times it didn’t worked before!) so he may have a hard time listening to you. Be stubborn and keep on commanding it to go in Jesus’ name, until it disappears.
I hope I didn’t confuse you too much!
Love, Sara
