As some of you know, dear readers, I’m going through a rough time right now. The world tells me to give up, but my heart tells me differently, to be a little poetic about it. Still, in all of this, these little wonders happen and gives me hope.
Sure, these things may not mean that much to you, they might not mean anything to you, but to me they are so incredibly encouraging.
Around two weeks ago the Christian school-compound – Shalom – had some sort of special day. I never quite understood the meaning of it, but they played worship-song in the ”Locker-Hall”. The ”Locker-Hall” is a very large room-slash-hallway-kind-of-thing where almost everyone in the entire school has their own locker. They played Christian worship songs! People walked down the hallways singing songs like ”How Great is Our God” and ”Here I am to Worship”. Of course, not everybody loved it as much as I did, but no one really made a really big deal out of it. I was completely amazed, and I really hope they’ll arrange more days like that one. The school really needs it.
Last week I randomly caught one of my Non-Christian friends reading a Bible. A Bible! How amazing is that on a scale?
Another Non-Christian friend saw the entire Death of Y.O.L.O video without throwing his MacBook into a wall, as I was convinced he would do. He’s kind of against Christianity. We’re for some reason good friends though.
I have told some friends about some miracles that I have seen. I think it becomes more real when a friend tell you about something like this rather than a pastor, and when I was in pain once at school, one of my friends immediately began to pray for me. Wow!
My mom always says: ”Sara, maybe you’re influencing your friends more than you think.” Maybe she’s right. At least I hope she’s right.
I recently found this Bible-verse which immediately became one of my favorites:
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
Acts 20:24 NLT
God bless you! Love, Sara
